The Challenge

Thanks Alot NYC (TA-NY) is a Bronx-based premium streetwear label founded in 2016, positioning itself as a “multidimensional textile art production studio.” Every piece is hand-made in New York — from utility keychains and embroidered belts to 1-of-1 performance gear and artist merch collaborations. The brand embodies a deliberate duality: sarcastic and genuine, street and luxury, accessible and exclusive.

Despite a cult following in NYC streetwear circles and a strong creative identity, TA-NY’s digital presence didn’t match the quality of their product. Their Shopify store was functional but generic, social content was inconsistent, and the brand lacked the cohesive visual system needed to scale beyond local markets and into national retail conversations.

Our Approach

Brand System

Refined the visual identity to codify TA-NY’s duality — a brand guidelines package covering logo usage, color system, typography, packaging templates, and hang-tag design that translates across digital, print, and physical product.

E-Commerce Redesign

Redesigned the Shopify storefront with elevated product photography layouts, collection-based navigation, a “Made in NY” provenance storytelling section, and conversion-optimized product detail pages emphasizing hand-made exclusivity.

Content & Social Strategy

Built a content calendar spanning Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube — mixing studio process videos, NYC street culture editorial, artist collaboration spotlights, and product drops. Established a consistent posting cadence and visual language.

Photography & Art Direction

Art-directed lookbook and product photography shoots across iconic Bronx and Manhattan locations, capturing the brand’s NYC roots while elevating the aesthetic to compete with established streetwear players.
